This morning I read in the newspaper about this group of Malaysian tourists travelling to Leh, Ladakh where they met with a road accident that resulted with some dead and other injured. This brings back memory of our trip when we travel from Srinagar to Leh.
The road condition is certianly not for the faint hearted but the landscape is definately breathtaking.
Sometimes we were driving on the edge with steep slope on 1 side and deep ravine on the other.
The road is closed during winter when glaciers closed up the road making it impossible to drive through.
Most part of the journey to Leh is across mountainous areas with China on the east and Pakistan on the west.
I hope those who survived will have a speedy recovery. God bless them.

10 models, 1 make-up artist and a bunch of designers, editors and talent coordinators...but no photographer. So I am rope in as a last minute replacement killer ..oops i mean photographer.
Well I am rather clueless as to what I am suppose to shoot. It will be a mad 14 hours with 10 talents and well we will see...totally burn-out by 10pm when we finished. Last few shoots with the beautiful Raline doing funny faces. Look out for the September issue of Faces for a full report of this photos spread.

Travel being a major part of photography was also featured prominently as it brings together some travel writers, travel photographers from India, Vietnam, Taiwan and Indonesia.
